As an immigration specialist and HR manager, I will be responsible for overseeing the immigration and human resources functions of the organization. Providing expert guidance and support to employees and managers on various immigration matters and green card filings, as well as managing the recruitment, retention, performance, and development of the workforce.Some of my job duties and responsibilities as an immigration specialist and HR manager:• Conduct initial consultations with employees and managers to assess their eligibility and options for immigration benefits.• Research and analyze the latest immigration laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.• Prepare and file immigration forms, supporting documents, and correspondence with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of State (DOS), Department of Labor (DOL), and other agencies.• Communicate with employees, managers, and government officials throughout the immigration process.• Maintain accurate and updated records of each case in the database and online portals.• Resolve any issues or queries that may arise during the immigration process.• Stay updated on the changes and developments in the immigration field and attend relevant trainings and seminars.• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with the federal, state, and local laws and regulations.• Plan and coordinate the recruitment, selection, orientation, and onboarding of new hires.• Manage the payroll, benefits, compensation, and leave administration of the employees.• Conduct and facilitate the performance appraisal, feedback, and coaching of the employees.• Identify and address the training and development needs of the employees.• Handle the employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.• Promote a positive and inclusive work culture and environment
