I have always loved people businesses and am head of our Professional Practices Group and I remain part of our Creative Industries Group, I specialise in providing advice across a number of people business sectors with particular expertise in solicitors, patent attorneys, television, advertising and publishing. My role as trusted adviser to these companies has given me a range of experiences and contacts to call upon, and I am well known with strong links to specialists within, for example, banks, law firms and corporate finance advisers. In addition, I have been supporting organisations with transformations and structures such as Employee Ownership Trusts and helping businesses benchmark themselves within their own sectors. With a number of professional practice clients including solicitors, I am able to provide advice to the partnership and the partners, covering not only business advice but also taxation advice for the individual partners. I act as a reporting accountant under the SRA accounts rules.I have clients within music, games, arts and culture, technology, design and fashion. With much of my work being of an international aspect, I also act for clients within the air charter sector and am an ATOL Reporting Accountant. Many of my clients have property related aspects to their businesses which I also help them with.I act for a number of international groups where my experience of cross-border structures and transactions has been invaluable. I have been able to assist clients in the establishment of overseas subsidiaries. I have extensive international contacts through such work.Originally specialising in audit, I am now a general practitioner including tax advisory services, but I continue my audit specialism as one of the firms Responsible Individuals. I am also the partner responsible for our greatest asset, our People.I am married with two grown-up children. When I’m not with my family, out and about walking our dog, I will often be at gigs watching bands, sometimes at festivals, or at the cinema. My interest in the creative industries sector is based on a love of music, books, film and TV from an early age.
