Due to the pandemic, lecture activities are carried out through Google Meet call. This situation leads to a new challenge for assistants in order to maximize the teaching process in completely different situations. Materials and assignments are carefully arranged to avoid accidentally reducing the understanding of the materials that require direct practice, such as independent practice and field trips. Achievement: 87.5% of the class succeeded •Assisted a class of 24 sixth semester students through their medicinal and aromatic plants production technology course in tutorial class• Coordinated with lecturer and co-assistant on restructured 7 materials and scoring method • Composed materials such as introduction of efficacious plants, medicinal plant simplisia, pepper and vanilla plant nursery technology, garden TOGA (family medicinal plant) planning, essential oil extracts, herbal product analysis, herbal product business planning in the form of modules and power point presentations. • Assigned 14 assignments; collated data every week.

Many internship programs have been discontinued as a result of the pandemic. Students must be innovative in coming up with concepts for executing work internship programs in their respective fields, taking into account the internship program's workload. Dian took the initiative to create a partnership between rice seed firms and local rice farmers to learn about local culture, apply automation technologies to farmers, and analyze seed and rice production activities in order to boost rice yields.Achievement: 100% of farmers switched the method for the next planting season• Initiated the program, convinced the supervisor, a rice seed plantation company, and 5 local rice farmers to compile an evaluation of production technology to produce more efficient seed and rice production with good quality and quantity yields. • Composed proposal, PPT, and a final report evaluating the rice cultivation process using rice transplanter machines. • Demonstrated personal approach by persuading rice farmers to use agricultural machinery. • Educated farmers on the new technology using variety of methods that fit the local community's communication style, both using words, direct technology application, and presenting data about increasing rice production using agricultural mechanization
