• Develop, understand, and maintain the OneEHS project plan. Ensure that records of attendance are maintained.• Review customers permit systems, including requirements for site posting of permits, LOTO, Hot Work, Confined Space procedures, and FieldCore Lift Plans.• Consult with Lead Field Engineer and Customer on any potential hazards such as Asbestos, Lead, Arsenic, and Hexavalent Chrome, which may impact the work scope.• Advise leadership of Site setup information in Gensuite.• Complete weekly site audits in computer based Gensuite program.

Bangladesh

• Ensure effective implementation of GE standards and procedures at site, including the effectiveness of EHS related processes owned by others such as commissioning.• Conduct in-house training programs, EHS induction courses for employees to equips them with knowledge on occupational health and safety guidelines and local government regulation along with GE LSP (Life Saving Principles).• Integrate environmental health, and safety (EHS) requirements into project execution plan and strategies including site coordination plans from construction through to commissioning.• Ensure that all accidents and incidents are thoroughly investigated, reported and appropriate corrective and preventive actions including the sharing of lesson learned are carried out in a timely manner.• Act as point of contact to various government authorities including Department of Environment (DOE), Local fire brigade etc.• Monitor the effectiveness of the site related rules defined in the Site EHS plan and revise as necessary to keep up to date, in consultation with the Project Manager and Site Manager.• Ensure effective implementation of EHS management system including policy, plans, training, risk assessment, inspection, event management and analysis.• Ensure appropriate actions are taken in the event of non-compliance.• Ensure an effective EHS subcontractor management and audit program is maintained to monitor compliance with all relevant site EHS requirements.• Ensure effective EHS communication to all site personnel, Implement and maintain effective emergency plans, site access control procedures.• Developed recommendations to reduce hazards by improving gear, behaviors, and procedures.• Identified accident causes and optimal prevention strategies by conducting thorough investigations and analyses.• Maintained safety contingency programs for fire, spill, and other emergency response processes.
