Chief Engineer & Principal Investigator

Current

Lead design and flight testing. Logistic Gliders Inc. was founded to develop innovations in aerial resupply. Our goal is to identify less expensive means of aviation logistic support. We are currently working on low-cost, attritable, unpowered & powered gliders. We have completed twenty-two (22) prototype glider flight tests and all prototypes were at 100% scale. Prototypes were single use, so each test required building a new glider. Unpowered gliders can carry up to 1,600 pounds of supplies over a distance of 70 miles while powered gliders can fly significantly farther. Our gliders are sized to deploy from Marine MV-22, KC-130, CH-53; Navy MH-60; USAF C-130, C-17, CV-22, UH-1, HH-60, & MH-139 ; Army CH-47 & UH-60; and many international fixed and rotary wing aircraft.Website: http://www.logisticgliders.com/Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzbDrlSCorgPatent: USPTO 10,040,549 B2Academic Paper: "Technology Demonstration of a 1-ton Single Use Disposable Glider," AIAA SciTech 2019 Forum, 7-11 January 2019, San Diego, California, AIAA paper number 2019-2100
