Human Resources Coordinator
Current• Assist in compliance with Federal, Provincial and Local regulations by maintaining all required policies and procedures, attending educational training seminars and researching reference materials to ensure compliance• Implement SanMar Canada policies and review annually• Recruitment:o Lead full-cycle recruitment process for entry-level to intermediate positions for multiple SanMar Canada locations o Complete new hire paperwork, orientation, and onboarding processo Recruitment analysis: monthly, quarterly and annual costs. Includes staffing levels, turnover rate (departures), cost per hire, source channelo Complete resignation/termination paperwork and carry out the process• Create and maintain digital employee files• Assist and advise the management team with employee investigations and resolve concerns and issues as required• Assist in creating disciplinary discussion documentation and carry out the process as required• Contribute to maintaining accurate and up-to-date Employee Handbook• Responsible for completing all other HR-related documents including provincial Workers Compensation Board and Long-Term Disability (LTD) claims, point of contact for Workers Compensation Board Representatives, and ongoing claims• Update and maintain employee information in Time Clock Plus/ADP system• Review and approve vendor invoices as required• Communicate with Express Scripts Representatives to ensure minimal delay in medication delivery to members – urgently following up on discrepancies• Maintain updates needed for internal Intranet, “The ATC Stitch”• Compute warehouse payroll weekly and submit by 10:00 am• Coordination and order entry of employee recognition rewards • Serve as HR Liaison on the Joint Health & Safety Committee, Social Committee• Researches corporate opportunities (travel, health & wellness programs)• Obtains information for employee events and building maintenance/upgrades as requested• Maintain office supplies and decorations needed
