Throughout my journey, I've dedicated myself to championing the rights of workers and empowering communities, starting with my role as a Trade Union Organizer in Australia. Representing members in workplace disputes, I learned the importance of advocacy and solidarity. Upon returning to the Middle East, I've carried forward these values into my work in the development sector, with a focus on enterprise and rural development, particularly in agriculture.Collaborating with Q Perspective in Jordan, I co-founded a research and evaluation company in Lebanon, aiming to drive positive change. However, challenges in Lebanon led me to Palestine, where I've continued my mission. Together with Dr Hana Asfour, I established Social Dynamics Research Group Ltd in the UK, focusing on research, evaluation, and political communications, amplifying marginalized voices.My passion lies in empowering local communities, reclaiming control over our future, and decolonizing industries. By prioritizing indigenous knowledge and local expertise, I strive for a more equitable world. I aspire to be a catalyst for change, ensuring inclusive decision-making processes that honor each community's unique needs. My ultimate goal is to amplify local voices and empower communities to shape their own destinies.
