Apprehending the true essence of corporate culture at first hand was highly valuable. It tested and exploited all qualities needed to succeed in a professional environment. The immense expectations placed by mentors helped me to realize my true potential. It allowed me to engage with employees from various background and enhance my skills using their knowledge and experience. Undertaking extensive research and data analysis to develop viable strategies for Ernst and Young's client, truly elevated my analytical skills. As a student of Macquarie University, I had been part of several group projects. However, working with a team in a professional environment helped me comprehend the real importance of teamwork from a professional context. My team were able to successfully draft a business report, prepare a video presentation and a final pitch for the client outlining our recommended strategies, implementation techniques, risks associated with implementation and budgeted cost and revenues.
