Application Overview:Capstone is the collective name for Fidessa latent zero suite of applications provided by Fidessa and implemented by 6 of the world’s top 10 asset management organization. The application suite required as per the business requirement is implemented in three different applications namely Minerva, Tesseract and Sentinel. Analysis, planning and execution for patch release and service releases for client server applications used in Pyramis (Fidelity implementation of Capstone suite) – Compliance, Portfolio Management, Order and Execution Management including Trade execution, algorithmic programs, allocation and trade processing.2. Responsible for preparation of RTM and subsequent test planning, review of the documentations with Business Analysts and the QA team, Usage of Oracle Database (SQL Navigator)3. Test data set up on successful review of the test plan. Execution of test cases for both integration and acceptance phases from Quality Centre (Positive and negative test scenarios). 4. Role: QA Engineer for Fidelity InvestmentsApplication Overview:DBCS (Defined Benefits Client Server) application is the primary calculation engine implemented at Fidelity Investments for handling the entire series of DB calculations till the processing of literature (PDF formats) sent out to the participants. The project was incepted to incorporate plan benefits to participants in accordance with the Pension Protection Act which was proposed and signed by the US govt. In addition to the client – server testing there are web applications which are PSW (Plan Sponsor Workstations) and NB (Net Benefits)Role: QA Engineer, Mentor Responsibilities: 1. Worked on various US Government Regulations and Client configured corporate actions – Pension Protection Act (302, 701 and 1004 regulations) 2. Took the lead in DB client end-user pension plan corporate actions requirements analysis, and interact with Benefit Consultants/onshore as required to ensure that each requirement is translated into the right workable technical solution.3. Conducted and coordinated System Integration Testing and support User Acceptance Testing, with onshore team and the project team as a whole.
