Sarjan is the Chief Operating Officer at Auritec Pharmaceuticals, a rapidly growing drug delivery company. He is responsible for executive management covering multiple areas including product development, business development, regulatory, intellectual property, and administrative affairs. He serves as the key point of contact for the internal staff, administrative team, funding agencies, regulatory bodies, and R&D collaborators. He has co-authored award-winning NIH grants, IND submissions for first-in-human clinical trials, and overseen completion of two Phase 1 trials. His efforts have enabled the advancement of drug products in multiple therapeutic areas including infectious diseases (HIV, HSV), women’s health, solid organ transplantation, and opioid use disorder. He leads as a Key Personnel and Principal Investigator on multiple NIH SBIR projects. Sarjan also serves as an executive manager for Auritec's sister drug delivery company, O-Ray Pharma, which develops sustained-release products for ear disorders. Prior to joining Auritec, he worked as a Business Analyst/Consultant for multiple life science advisory firms where he collaborated with senior consultants to provide reimbursement, market access, and business development solutions to pharma, biotech, and medical device clients.Sarjan graduated with a Master of Business and Science degree from the Keck Graduate Institute and holds a Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology engineering from the University of Mumbai.
