Part of the Vin Group, I co-founded NGC in response to a rapidly expanding mobile VAS market and growing need for mobile service providers to offer beneficial mobile services in addition to voice only communication services. Passionate about empowering people and creating a positive culture, I lead and inspire a team of 12 including marketing, IT and content management professionals, finance, administration and HR staff. I create growth development strategies, establish and develop positive strategic partnerships and perform international and national business development activities to promote the brand and drive growth across Iraq and the Middle East. I also offer consultation to the group for the implementation of an online payment system and customized mobile application portals.- Through understanding customer needs, continuously researching, developing and improving products, and delivering innovative solutions, NGC has become a pioneer and is the number one mobile VAS provider in Iraq;- Created strategic alliances with International and local music labels including Universal Music, Sony Music, Hungama and Pel Records;- Formed solid partnerships with industry leading technology providers including Apliman, Metus, Audible Magic, Wowza and RR Media;- Developed strategic plan and executed annual marketing strategies for sister companies, Fastlink 4G LTE and Newroz Telecom, which significantly increased revenue;- Utilizing in-house media – Vin TV and Vin FM, and music label – Vin Production, NGC has produced more than 1,500 audio tracks and 300 video clips;- Launched innovative and highly successful localized value added services for mobile subscribers in Iraq;- Created multiple employment opportunities in the region.

Founded in 2007, Vin TV has significantly improved Kurdistan’s music scene and provides a wide range of music videos to large Kurdish audiences around the world. As General Manager, I was responsible for driving the success of the business through recruiting and managing a productive and cohesive team. I implemented an annual programming strategy and plan of action, and oversaw daily operations to ensure progress in alignment with business objectives. - Successfully led the business to become the number one Kurdish music channel in Iraq, reaching more than 20 million viewers worldwide;- Launched innovative entertainment programs and contests to enhance brand awareness and increase engagement;- Established state-of-the-art in-house production facility (Vin Production) to reduce costs.

As Business Associate, I was responsible for managing the finance, logistics, sales, marketing and commercial teams within the export division. I provided operational expertise to improve quality and productivity, and successfully exported more than 4,000 containers of household products from the UK to Iraq.
