CurrentJanuary 2020 – PRESENT AVP• Deputy Team Head of Treasury Manila; • Heading the Validation Team for payment execution; • Authorized Signatory for all payment release in the firm; • Monitors payment cash flows from end to end process and investigates payment issues when issue arises with banks, accounting department and IT; • Handles transfers and restructures for a sale, buyout, merger and over all change in ownership; • Cash management - monitor global cash position including investment of counter-party. Ensures all cash pools are funded and able to execute payments on time as requested • Continuously improving the quality of the process and the team's development by setting up KPIs; • Supporting the Management in decision making of plans for the Business Unit; • Innovation of processes by utilizing technology resources; • Part of the hiring process of other sub-teams that are starting to set-up in Manila; • Responsible for the career development, training and guidance of 2-3 members of the unit; • Perform Ad Hoc analysis as needed September 2016 – December 2019 FINANCIAL ANALYST (Junior Treasurer) • Pioneer member of the Treasury and Execution Business Unit in Manila; • Lead the migration of payment processes (Capital Calls and Distributions) from Zug, Switzerland; • Responsible for processing and validating transactions from different counter-parties; • Initiates wire transfers and ensures adequate wire payment supporting documentation are on file and standard protocols are followed for security purposes; • Maintains the financial records are up to date; • Interacts with external service providers such as banks, custodians and general partners; • Part of the hiring process of the growing team and handled the training of new team members; • Implements additional controls and continuous improvements on existing processes; • Supporting the firm with the internal reporting and maintenance of process documentation;
