Lead engineer of the Adeptra/FICO mobility platform run-time team.The mobility platform is a large, distributed, Cloud/SaaS based system providing services such as Fraud Detection (for banks), Collections, Payments, Advertisement. However it can be easily extended as it is highly customizable.The platform allows customers to engage with end users via a personalized channel (SMS, email, automated voice call, mobile apps -iOS,Android- or web enabled applications) and drive decision via the FICO/Adeptra decision engine. All is managed via the FICO/Adeptra web portal.The team key focus is the following: • Enhance the platform with new features collecting requirements from customers/account managers, system engineering, operations, application and QA department. • Continuously review platform architecture to improve overall system performance and resiliency. • Provide 3rd level support resolving issues deriving directly from our production system. Incidents are prioritized and scheduled for resolution. • Investigate future system requirements, new technologies and tools to improve engineering team productivity. • Engage with 3rd party providers to implement new services.Requirements are broken down in tasks, prioritized and agreed in sprints with the director of engineers using Agile/Kanban like approach.Established technologies: Core Java / Multithreading, Spring, JMS (ActiveMQ), Hibernate, MySQL, Tomcat, Web service (HTTP/REST/JSON/XML) and security, Rhino, JavaScript, WebHarvest, PHP, SQL, Stored Procedures.Technologies under investigation: MongoDB, CouchBase, Nashorn, WebSockets.

Scrum master of the team developing telecom (VoIP/WEB 2.0) applications for the Genband Web Application Manager (WAM). This is an international scale project delivering carried grade applications to large telecom providers. My role was to lead the project through development resolving technical issue, work with product owners, other leads and architects to refine requirements and influence product direction.

Scrum member of a team of highly skilled senior software engineers developing VoIP, WEB 2.0 and IPTV applications on WAM. The project involved integration of VoIP applications (e.g. make voice call, call notification, call logs, address book etc.) with WEB applications like Facebook and Yahoo! and/or digital TV applications (IPTV). I was accountable for the business requirement definition and software implementation of the REST interfaces using WEB standards and business logic using JAVA (EJB, JMS, and JPA). I contributed, furthermore, to the development of the COMET server supporting large scale HTTP requests. Additional responsibilities included technical leadership of a small team of offshore partners.
