Providing SOC solution to biggest banking client in UAE on Arcsight SIEM solution. My role involves Content development and fine tuning of environment. Preparation of unique use cases to meet PCI compliance requirements of our banking client. Development of unique use cases. Providing Admin support for Arcsight solution. Maintaining health of SIEM to ensure constant & uninterrupted SOC operation. New integration of devices. Creating rules & reports as per client's requirements.

Providing SIEM solution to one of India's leading Telecom company. I am more involved in implementation, Admin and SOC operations. Have worked on fine tuning of SIEM environment to reduce false positive and alerts(offenses) and to capture real time true positive to ensure better monitoring of client's network. Deep analysis of client's network to ensure that i add on value to its security environment by finding gaps in existing security measure applied and filling that by taking new steps relatively from SIEM prospective. The outcome can be new set of custom usecases for rules, reports and dashboard and SOPs for day today SOC operation activities. Major activities where I involve in, are health monitoring, log source monitoring, ensuring no log loss and quick troubleshooting in case logs stop reporting, version and patch upgrade, all admin related activities, L2- L3 level of offense analysis and content development in qradar.

Working as security analyst for Infrastructure Outsourcing – Managed Security Operations by providing support for multiple clients on SIEM technologies like arcsight, QRadar and splunk. The core responsibilities which i have is platform support for QRadar. Other activities are daily monitoring of alerts in arcsight, monitoring, analysis of incidents and providing the solution in case any security alert is generated.
