CAE Engineer

♦ Responsibilities involved complete FE Modelling and deck setup for crash and pedestrian safety simulations. ♦ Preparing the head and leg positions for pedestrian safety simulations for ECE EURONCAP and Flex-PLI standards♦ Responsibilities also involved sub model assembling in to CAE-Bench and updating the storyboards in CAE-Bench as per the required output requests. ♦ Analysis, Post-processing and report generation.♦ Design suggestions and counter measures to improve the performance of the structure to meet the regulatory requirement. ♦ Worked on crash simulations for frontal AZT, ECE R94, FMVSS208, EURO-NCAP, US-NCAP, side Impact FMVSS214, IIHS, EURO-NCAP, US-NCAP standards.♦ Worked on FMVSS201 Head Impact Model build up and simulations♦ Worked in small projects like NVH and Strength simulations

Primary responsibilities involved effort estimation, planning, resource identification, work coordination, quality control and deliverables. ♦ Spearheading the efforts during FE Modelling, Assemblies of subsystems, detailed quality checking.♦ Coordination between the customer and modelling team to meet the scope and requirements of the project.♦ Resolving and timely escalation of critical issues with respect to scope, schedule and resources, that could affect the project health♦ Worked with the FE modelling team to build complex plastic parts as per the stringent client requirements.♦ Acted as a single point of contact for customer in query clarifications and final results presentation.♦ Worked in most of the automotive domains in FE modelling such as Crash, NVH, CFD and Durability.

♦ Developed the proper methodology to characterize Fracture property in composite materials♦ Acquired good expertise on crack modelling in ANSYS tool♦ Worked with different Mechanical Testing machines in the testing lab and gained good knowledge on different testing techniques♦ The fracture properties are tested in the lab and the same simulated in the ANSYS tool.
