Working as a Data Scientist, I have been working in the Telecom domain using my Data Analysis and Model building approaches to build business value for the client. Some of the tasks undertaken:- Reduced call rerouting by 40% by Predicting the final waiting queue that a customer call should be routed to, based on historical customer, call and customer's products features. This helped bringing down cost per call(each routing costed $5), cases of customer abandoning the calls due to a drastic reduction of customer waiting time by over ~60%.- Succeeded in saving a week of man hours and efforts for the client on a regular basis by Predicting the types and levels of training required for customer care representatives based on the reviews submitted by the customers being handled by these representatives. - Built an in-house Abuse Detection and Sarcasm Detection model to filter out abusive or insulting comments along with detecting the sarcasm. This is being used alongside our in-house chat-bot for emotion detection from the chat and thus enhancing query resolution.
