In this project I delved into the complexities of LoRa (Long Range) technology and it's security implications in IoT networks. The exploration involved meticulous examination of LoRa's vulnerabilities, utilising diverse hardware and software tools, alongside working with various sensors to simulate real world scenarios.The analysis unearthed critical security challenges, including vulnerabilities to replay, eavesdropping, spoofing and jamming attacks, highlighting the urgent need for robust encryption and authentication mechanisms. Looking towards the future, the research advocates for advanced threat mitigation strategies, enhanced cryptographic protocols and the integration of machine learning for anamoly detection, aiming to bolster the security and resilience of LoRa-based IoT deployments.

Co-Authored a paper which developed a flexible, label free and low-cost paper based microfluidic SERS substrates for Thiram detection. The hydrophilic nature and ideal size of wells was maximised by using various parameters and algorithms such as the Bayesian Optimisation which is a probabilistic optimization algorithm.

Worked on a statistical approach using the Design of Experiment for the optimisations of various fuel cells under the guidance of Prof. Sanket Goel in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In it the concept DOE was used to analyse the effects of various factors and ANOVA was found out which helped us to develop robust design and optimize parameters for many realistic applications. The work also resulted in a publication in the Journal of Process Mechanical Engineering.
