Sarthak is a 3D Environment Artist who graduated from BCIT. Originally born in Nepal and raised in Edmonton, he has moved to BC seeking a long and rewarding career in the entertainment, games and media industry.He has grown up admiring the imaginative worlds depicted in cinema and animated features. Strong imagery and visual storytelling really resonates with him . He has a natural aptitude for visualizing compelling concepts into believable 3D environments. To accomplish this, he has honed his skills in modeling clean topological forms in Maya, sculpting intricate details through Zbrush and hand painting authentic textures with the Substance Suite in order to construct the perfect cohesive composition.Currently he is crafting a scenic medieval town square within Unreal Engine 4 for his demo reel showcase. He is also hard at work constructing a second atmospheric scene: a steam punk inspired industrial train station.Sarthak has successfully worked in the insurance and financial sector with a Computer Science backgroundfor the last 3 years.
