Microsoft Dynamics NAV is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) app from Microsoft. The product is part of the Microsoft Dynamics family, and intended to assist with finance, manufacturing, customer relationship management, supply chains, analytics and electronic commerce for Small and Medium-sized Enterprise and local subsidiaries of large international Groups.I was involved in Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform testing, wherein i was responsible for verification of bugs reported by customers across the globe to Microsoft and also trying various workarounds and scenarios where we can test the each of them and see for additional failures and issues and then reporting the same to the developer to get it fixed at the earliest. My role also involved Failure Analysis of automated test cases running on various integral builds ranging from variety of tasks the software is made for. When any failure is reported in the test case, we had to carve out a patch for the same and fix the failure.In the past one year, i have also gained experience in analyzing the product on the basis of its performance. In this role, i had to analyze the builds running the automated test cases in the area of time and space complexity. Applying my analytical skills in the same has helped me in setting up a benchmark for performance analysis and is being followed through out Microsoft across it's various domains and verticals.
