I am a 2023 B.Tech. graduate in Bioinformatics (IT Minors). I have a passion for programming and data analysis. I have experience in SAS, Python, Perl, and R, database management- SQL as well as web development and networking skills. I have also learned and applied machine learning and data mining techniques to various bioinformatics projects, such as protein structure & function prediction and drug discovery.During my studies, I have completed several projects that involved computational techniques and molecular dynamics simulations to investigate the mechanics and functions of biological molecules, such as the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that caused the Covid-19 Pandemic) and the AGPase enzyme of the wheat plant. These projects provided me with a good hands-on experience in applying my programming and data analysis skills, as well as learning new biological technologies like GROMACS and Discovery Studio Visualizer. I am eager to leverage my skills and learnings to contribute to innovative and impactful projects in the IT sector. I am always open to new challenges and opportunities to grow and collaborate with others.
