However, in-house financial services and payments require a high level of expertise, time, and resource that most businesses don’t have.Finmesh is a start-up project to become a regulated financial services company that runs embedded financial services management and open banking API and services platform as a service, giving non-regulated and regulated companies access to global payments.

Managed loyalty program and payment and financial services activities. Led a team that prepared a new vision and business strategy for a unique loyalty program and financial services.

Advised various companies in the region on effective management and monitoring of business processes, setting up the business and financial performance indicators to facilitate business monitoring, and assisted in M&A projects.

Led a team that set up and managed a 1.000+ client (merchants - head offices) portfolio, ran negotiations, signed contracts, and provided 87% coverage of all merchants in the country. Signed contracts with 95% of the top 100 merchants (head offices) generated 85% of the total sales volume in less than ten months. Managed relationships with banks, transaction processors, and POS terminal and ATM operators (negotiations, contract signing). Developed new sales channels and financial products (BNPL from 1 to 36 months).

Managed the payment and financial institution business and managed a team of 100+ , with an annual turnover of €250M+, and 90.000+ clients. Grew the client base and improved client retention in double digits by launching customer-centric marketing and services campaigns and upgraded product offerings by developing and implementing new lifestyle products. Oversaw business strategy, merchant acquiring, business operations, go-to-market planning, development, and implementation of new products and services. Three times in a row (2008, 2009, and 2010) received an award for the most successful large Diners Club International franchise in the EMEA region (most original, innovative products and rapid client growth).

Overseed all company's financial activities and preparation of business and financial reports. Prepared business and financial forecasts, monitored deviations from realization, and reported to the board of directors. Had a strategic advisory role in product development on the board of directors. (Introduction of revolving product and payment lifestyle products on the domestic market combined to own loyalty program.) Participated in M&A projects. Carried out over ten due diligence of payment & financial institutions and other companies (Slovenia, USA, UK, Benelux, France, Italy...)
