The overarching goal of data-driven marketing is to deliver the right content, to the right person, at the right time. Led a newly formed engineering team to a successful completion of one of the first Sony PS2 products released in early 2001. Budget was > $1M and the team was about 15 people. Following project completion, I documented the technical research performed on the project which resulted in the company receiving a significant chunk of the development budget reimbursed through a successful SR&ED tax credit application. Technical lead on a team of six software engineers. Built one of the first PS2 games in Vancouver. Technologies developed included an object-oriented extension to C, an on-demand asynchronous loading subsystem for streaming data in the background, and others.
