About Sasa Vujic

Saša Vujić, MSc.E.E, is a Director of Electro-Optical Systems Development at Vlatacom d.o.o. He graduated from the University of Belgrade in 2000, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Throughout his career, Saša specialized in system architecture, design and engineering, and new products development. He established hardware development in Vlatacom, in 2004, and ever since performed successfully as Senior R&D Engineer, Project Manager, HW Development Team Leader, HW Development Manager and Director of Electro-Optical Systems Development. Most notable systems and products he developed with his team are VDR-x series of document readers. These complex and innovative systems include state of the art electronics, optics, mechanics, image processing and software development. He is an inventor of two granted patents for document readers. Between 2000 and 2004, Saša worked in the national institution Institute Mihailo Pupin in Belgrade, where he developed GPS based, location and time synchronization systems, with GSM/GPRS and UHF/VHF communication, which are still in use. In 2000, during the internship in Informatika a.d., Saša developed switching power supply module for industrial PLC. He has written seven scientific publications.
