In this Position I am responsible for the ETL, Data Quality, Reportserver Support, Snapshot Creation and BI Knowledge Creation. We use SSIS Packages for Transfer of Data from external and internal Systems and apply Data Quality Control. We deal with various sources of data including SQL, Oracle and SAP.We also run SSIS Packages for external Reporting to BON and I have implemented several Monitoring tools to verify daily/weekly and Monthly Processes. I have automated a solution for controlled daily/weekly/monthly Snapshot Creation and Archiving functionality and have saved almost 8 hours in the nightly processes by improving TSQL Scripts and SQL Database Optimization (Triggers, Indices, Improved Code).I basically am involved in complete internal BI-solutions from conception to functional specs to technical specs to final implementation and maintenance of such systems, including Documentation and user training. We are constantly improving and adding new Sources to our Warehouse solution and i implement and maintain these systems continuously.I also provide After-Hours support. I have a lot of in-depth knowledge on the inner workings of SQL, TSQL, SSIS and SSRS. I have complete understanding of the Reportserver Database and enhance functionality continuously.I have implemented a new SSIS Solution to automate the submissions of Data to Credit Bureaus for Credit Profiles and Credit Worthiness Validation in 2 entities.I have also implemented another SSIS Solution in 2 Entities to submit Data to AML system as well as the Regulator for compliance Purposes. This information is sent daily and is vital for Bank Compliance with said regulators. Based on the new requirements issued by various regulators around the world, we are now fully compliant in 2 Countries.I continuously train new staff to share knowledge and experience gained throughout my own growth and learning process.

In this Position I am maintaining an existing Payroll System, Analyze bugs and develop enhancements to the system mostly in SQL with a Visual Basic Front-End. I am in sole charge of Financial Reporting across the Group at the end of the Month from IT and balance Financial Journals between our Main Processing System and Financial System. I also provide Maintenance and Journal Imports into VU2000 Financial System and assist in allocation and balancing of Data with our Finance Department with Monthly Reports to Execs on Sales/Cost and Margin Figures.I developed a BI Solution via SSIS Packages and Analysis Services. This is in turn used by the Finance Department to be able to break-down the Financial Month-End Information. I also use SSRS for the Reporting Solution of Data Processing as well as Crystal Reports for the Front-End Reporting in VB. I assist with Payroll Queries of any kind especially Tax Queries, IRP5 Submissions, IT10A Submissions, etc.We perform many types of Data Imports via SSIS Packages, Direct Imports from various Sources.I also assist the Auditors Internal and External with balancing and auditing all information on the system. I also handle all sensitive Auditor Queries with regards to potential fraud, etc.In terms of Visual Basic I have developed all types of applications from EXE Stand-Alone Applications to Controls, Services, Data Processing Engines, etc.There is also some Web Development for certain Applications.I look after a team of 5 Developers that report to me and monitor their progress and meeting of deadlines. I dedicate time to train new staff members and sharing of knowledge with co-workers on best practices and improvement of processes.I am also currently the Visual SourceSafe and TFS Administrator and making sure of Version Control and Team Development Management of Source Code. We currently follow the Waterfall Development Methodology with some Agile Methodology by means of Scrums.

I developed various Visual Basic and Web Front-End Applications for all types of Credit Applications with various Bureaus. This included Homeloans /Credit Cards, etc. I developed both Front-End and Back-End Solutions usually via SQL/MS Access.These applications are first captured in our system by in-house Data Capturers or any outside Client applying for himself, and even Brokers on behalf of their clients. These applications are then validated in our system and in turn passed on to the Banks for approval. Tracking Mechanisms in our system then keep the client updated on the progress of the application.Many communication methods are being used from SQL to Mainframe to Cellphone/E-mail Notifications, etc.

These Applications calculated correct contributions on Earnings, which must eventually be transmitted electronically to Fedsure. In this position I was responsible for 5 different applications for Maintenance and new Development for both Front-End and Back-end (SQL2000) Development.

In this position I created a new Local Area Network for the Company to be able to communicate between PCs and the outside world. I implemented an e-mail solution, installed and developed their first Network based Tour Planning Application. The App was written in Visual Basic with MS Access Database. The Application allowed Staff to plan, re-schedule and create itineraries for the various types of Holidays and business Travel Destinations.This Position was specifically for the Implementation of a new System and Contract ended upon completion of Assignment.
