As cloud and automation technologies mature, I find myself with a strong desire to help others make beautiful things. Tooling is meaningless if it hasn't been implemented so that it enables better and faster delivery. Whether it's an empty Chef cookbook or a complex and confusing cloud console, I'm interested in finding ways to make tools more accessible for people whose job is to ship code, not wrestle with infrastructure.I bring over 15 years of IT experience, focused primarily in infrastructure design, build and automation, as well as complementary skills in *nix system administration and extensive problem solving experience. In college I was pursuing a degree in Medieval Literature when I was drawn into full time technology work during the Internet Boom. I never looked back. Not only do I bring several years of technical experience, but also a solid communication skill set that allows me to speak clearly to all levels of technical background.
