Sasha Bhavan has 30 years experience of designing and building residential, educational and recreational buildings. She is a founding partner of Knox Bhavan Architects (1995) a Practice with a reputation for beautifully considered and detailed work, winner of and short listed three times for the RIBA Manser Medal, twice winner of the Grand Design New House Award and four times winner of the Wood Award. Sasha has considerable experience of working with both new and existing, listed and historic buildings. She has designed and built a number of buildings in parks working closely with landscape architects, and has successfully built in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Areas of Special Scientific Interest and World Heritage Sites. She also consistently contributes to charitable organizations such as Art in the Park (trustee), Sydenham High School (chair of the Governors) and the RIBA (premises committee and associated competitions). She teaches and lectures; given the pace of change in the digital world, there is a lot to learn from students. Finally Sasha is also a senior and active partner in a successful development company.
