Ex Head of Digital Strategy for the Good Glamm Group, South Asia's largest content to commerce group. with dual role of Head of Marketing for the Beauty Category at MyGlamm | Good Glamm Group.My journey started with a degree in Journalism but i soon realized that my interest lay in what brands were doing, that was news-worthy, I moved onto handling Public Relations for the LVMH group in India thereby starting my love affair with luxury lifestyle brands. I did my second Master's in Fashion Marketing from Parsons and while in NYC worked at Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch and Coach. While I was mastering the nuts and bolts of fashion, I found myself drawn quite organically to digital marketing and in true self-starter spirit freelanced as a social media marketer for homegrown boutique brands in India and New York. It was this journey that led me back to India to build and lead the Digital Marketing team at The Communication Council. Since then, in a career spanning over 10 years I have consistently brought brands to life on their digital platforms focusing on social media and app journeys. A few of my favorite brands that I kickstarted consumer-friendly digital content for are Grey Goose, Fendi, Dior Watches & Jewelry, Innisfree, Kiko Milano, Kiehl's, Blossom Kocchar, The Lodhi and TATA Cliq Luxury to name a few. Having been thrust into a leadership role very early in my career I have had considerable time to evolve my leadership style and find that it is rooted in people empowerment. I firmly believe in leading from behind and that it truly takes teamwork to make the dream work.
