• During my time on the department sales have increased year on year more that tripling profits (10 million to 34million) and halving markdown resulting in a continued growth in market share gains and now making Debenhams number 1 on the high street for bikinis. • Worked with the marketing team to create 3 fantastic swimwear advertising campaigns resulting in the largest gain on incremental sales in the company. • Responsible for buying 3 departments which include development of 15 ranges of Swimwear each containing co-ordinating holiday shop pieces including shorts, t-shirts, dresses, sarongs, kaftans, bags and footwear. 5 ranges of own bought sunglasses as well as selecting numerous designer branded ranges.• Collaborated with high profile designers such as Matthew Williamson and Jasper Conran.• Technically minded and worked hard to produce great fitting garments while continually sourcing new innovations. • Supported e-comm and international teams to create special buys to support the needs of specific markets. • Sourced and selected branded collections often working to create special buys.• Managed a team of 4 assistants and work closley with the design and merchandising teams.
