Profile bio

About Sasha Sebright

I am a forever learner with 10 years leadership experience at the intersection of animal welfare and conservation. My early career consisted of grassroots wildlife rescue and rehabilitation roles predominantly in Australia, and culminated in the management of a thriving UK wildlife rehabilitation unit. Within the first year I helped a fantastic team of staff and volunteers improve the centres success rate by 13%. Endeavoring to ensure our success could be duplicated and long-lasting, I developed strong relationships with a network of vets, rehab units, local communities and more; freely sharing knowledge and building capacity both internally and externally. To invest in myself and help create impact at a more systemic level, I returned to university and graduated with a masters in conservation leadership alongside an inspiring, intimate cohort of global conservationists. From here I transitioned into more-than human project management and facilitation, supporting NGOs including WWF, the Luc Hoffmann Institute, and War Child. I am driven to enable the collective re-imagining of futures which prioritise the resilience and well-being of all life, and supporting the creation of new mechanisms, mindsets and behaviours which will help turn those future dreams into a reality.
