I am a soon-to-be graduate from Appalachian State University, double majoring in Risk Management and Insurance and Finance and Banking, with a minor in Business Analytics. My academic journey, combined with diverse internships, has provided me with a strong foundation in risk management, data analytics, and financial strategies. I am particularly passionate about leveraging technology to drive business growth and improve operational efficiencies.At Amazon, I led the Project VITA Wiki Revamp, where I recommended the integration of generative AI and redesigned the VITA team’s Wiki page to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. This project showcased my strategic thinking, innovation, and ability to implement technology-driven solutions. My roles at United States Liability Insurance Association and McGriff have sharpened my data analytics skills, particularly with tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Python, enabling me to deliver insightful analytics and develop strategic solutions. My experience at IAT Insurance Group involved creating a comprehensive SharePoint repository for regulatory compliance and state filings, enhancing departmental efficiency.As I prepare to graduate, I am excited to pursue a career as a Solutions Architect, where I can utilize my skills to design and implement innovative technology solutions that meet complex business needs. I am currently preparing for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification to deepen my understanding of cloud computing and its applications in business solutions.I am also actively seeking opportunities to work with TV networks, radio stations, and innovative companies in Washington, D.C., where I can combine my passion for risk management, data analytics, and program management with my enthusiasm for dynamic industries. My involvement as the Community Service and Events Director for the Upsilon Omicron Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, and my participation in study abroad programs in India, Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay have enriched my global perspective and leadership skills.I thrive on building meaningful relationships, driving innovation, and exploring new opportunities.
