Instructional Designer
Current•Collaborate with the Technical Content Architect and Learning Architect to align to the client's pedagogical vision and expectations, and understand course learning outcomes (past and current clients include Meta and Microsoft).•Conduct thorough checks on Subject Matter Expert (SME) work to ensure alignment with technical and pedagogical standards, and facilitate coaching sessions with SMEs as needed to enhance content development.•Deliver a high standard of storyboarding by aligning source content received from the SME with best practices, and write clear, concise content for video and non-video items that adheres to core style guidelines.•Lead course teams, coaching and mentoring junior Instructional Designers (IDs). Provide guidance to junior IDs and review all storyboards and non-video content from other IDs for the course, ensuring adherence to technical and pedagogical best practices.•Facilitate final delivery of courses on the Coursera platform, reviewing and preparing all course components, including videos, readings, exercises, and assessments, for high-level review by the Learning Architect.•Meet strict client deadlines by effectively managing timelines and prioritising tasks throughout the course development process, ensuring timely delivery of all course components on the Coursera platform.•Own end-to-end processes and tasks involved in the overall project, from design to production, implementation, and release on the Coursera platform.
