Hi! My name is Sasha Wright and I am a freshman at The George Washington University pursuing a B.A. in International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy at The Elliott School of International Affairs. I was also a former coxswain on the Division I Women's Rowing Team.As a coxswain, I learned to adapt under high-pressure situations and enhance my communication skills, as well as having the full responsibility of four or eight rowers. I was tasked with ensuring the safety of the crew and steering the boat in a straight line, all while giving motivational, technical, and general calls either to push the rowers during a race or during practice. I also run my own dog-walking service, Sashimi Dogs, which has also taught me valuable lessons in time management and customer service.
