I'm the Founder of the High Metabolic Clinic, an Ontario-wide obesity telemedicine program. My team consists of endocrinologists, internists, GP psychotherapists, psychiatrists and Registered Dietitians. I became a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine in 2017 and have been practising full-time obesity medicine since then. Prior to this, I was a Staff Physician at Credit Valley Hospital from 2012-2017.My expertise is in cognitive behavioural therapy to overcome disordered eating (binge eating, emotional eating, restrict/indulge cycles), and to create an empowered mindset and healthy lifestyle. I'm passionate about all things women’s health. I enjoy speaking both within the medical community and the media, on a variety of topics in the field of weight management and women’s health including obesity treatment, menopause, CBT for emotional eating, and mindset optimization. I have a podcast called the High on Life podcast, available on all streaming platforms.Most of my personal time is spent running, training for my next marathon, kitesurfing, and trying to figure out organic veggie gardening.
