My main responsibilities at Rosebud Multimedia were re-building and managing the creative services department for Rosebud Multimedia, the new parent company of the Medford Mail Tribune. My primary function was guiding the department back to a full service, in-house creative agency as well as developing new products. I lead and managed a team as well as trained and guided new designers. Set and held the design standards of Rosebud Multimedia and it’s family of brands (Mail Tribune, Ashland Tidings and The Nickel). I also purchased and scheduled all print products that are produced.

For the first couple of years back at Harry and David I was the Art Director for the retail stores large format signage and in-store signage as well as all of the print collateral. Last fall we switched things up and I loved back to the catalog team to art direct the Stock Yards brand and a few of the Harry and David catalogs. - Art Direct all projects for stores, Stock Yards and Harry and David as well as design them too - Lead and collaborate with production and design staff- Art Direct photography for store signage, marketing pieces and catalog- Create seasonal campaign concepts for the stores floor sets and the Harry and David catalogs- Aid in the development of brand style guides

After a year of honing my design skills on large format signs for the Retail Stores, I was moved over to the direct marketing team to work on catalog. Eventually, I was managing the creation catalogs from start to finish.- Produced and designed catalog documents to meet firm deadlines- Collaborated with my Art Directors on layouts and concepts- Designed everything from large format signage to catalog layouts for multiple brands (Harry and David, Wolferman’s and Cushman’s)- Art Directed catalog cover and product photography

I created advertisements for businesses purchasing space in the newspaper in a fast paced, very deadline driven environment with quick turnaround times. Designs had to be eye catching and concise to accommodate small spaces and usually were in black and white. It was a challenge and I loved it.
