I specialize in crewed yacht charters, yacht management, and sailing events. My mission is to create truly bespoke and original yachting experiences, using my extensive local networks and knowledge of the Mediterranean, Caribbean, French Polynesia, and Indonesia. I value quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction, and align my company's vision and culture with these.As MD, I am responsible for the strategy, operations, and growth of the company. I oversee the sales, project management, and supplier relationships. I have successfully built a loyal client base, from individuals and families to corporations. I have also organized and hosted multiple sailing regattas and events, such as the High Point Yacht Fest and the Engineering Challenge Cup (ECC), which attracts hundreds of participants and numerous sponsors every year. I am an active member of CYBA (Charter Yacht Broker Association) sitting on two of their boards (New Brokers Course and The Membership). SKILLS:PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - YACHTS & DESTINATIONS: Broad and deep knowledge of yachts and their crews across all destinations. We centrally manage a number of yachts and advise all crews on client service and management.CLIENT HANDLING, SERVICE & SALES: Over 20 years’ experience handling clients and their demands from all over the globe. Fitting clients with boats and other services requires paying close attention to what prospective clients are asking for, being imaginative and never over-selling anything.EVENT MANAGEMENT: Very extensive organisation of regattas. I have led the organisation of the Engineer Challenge Cup (ECC) most years since 2004 and every year since 2016. This is a regatta of 50-70 boats and 300-500 participants. Requires sourcing and distribution of all boats, the organisation of berths every evening, and evening meals for the entire fleet for some of the week, plus putting on welcome and prize giving parties, negotiating and managing sponsors, local government officials and commercial operations, overseeing the production of promotional materials and clothing, getting referees and liaising with the Commodore's committee throughout. I have also set up my own High Point Yacht Fest regattas.NETWORK BUILDING: Over the course of my career, I have built extensive networks, which I have nurtured and drawn on to assist in delivering services to clients, and help and support for my regattas. This is a people business, and it only works through the hard work of lots of people from round the world collaborating together in a mutually supportive way.
