I was a Supervisor on the import customs clearance team that specialised in the EU to UK road movements. I joined Dachser during the early stages of Brexit and then achieved a promotion to join the leadership team where many challenges have been faced, including the introduction of GVMS and transitioning from CHIEF to CDS in a fast-paced environment. My role is to ensure the daily operations of the day shift clearance team are conducted in an efficient and effective manner whilst adhering to, and complying with, company and external authority customs requirements and legislation.

In 2017 I decided to pursue a change in career direction, moving away from the private hospitality sector to refocus my skills within a business administration environment. I joined BLC Leather Technology centre, prior to its merge with Eurofins Ltd, as Testing Administration and Production Manager. My role required me to manage a team of 4 administration assistants to oversee and ensure the smooth process of the production line upon receiving sample submissions from our commercial clients, through to chemical and physical testing of these products, to the completion of results and reporting back to the client.

I transitioned from Motor Yacht Raasta in January 2016 to a land-based role within the family’s private estate in Oxfordshire, supporting and assisting the Principal’s family and business associates within their private country home. The role also required me to travel to work within their other worldwide properties to provide continuous support where necessary. This included a proportionate amount based at their exclusive private residence in London.

Between February 2012 and January 2016, I travelled the world on various superyachts working as a stewardess for ultra-high net worth individuals and their families.

After I completed my secondary education I applied for an apprenticeship at the City of Bristol College to advance my workplace administration skills. Whilst there I completed my Level 2 NVQ and Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Business and Administration. I was initially based in the Workforce Development and HR Department that processed new staff applications, recruitment and organised education and training. I then moved to the customer service department that was responsible for enrolling all new students and taking the relevant payments.
