Digital Main Street (DMS) is a program developed in partnership by the City of Toronto and the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA) helping high street businesses go digital. The program has been profiled in the media recently by Retail-Insider, The Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, BetaKit, Profit Guide and Notable.Worked with over 60 businesses across 4 Toronto Business Improvement Areas (BIA) assisting local business with digital strategy and adoption of digital tools carrying out the below responsibilities:  • Conduct research to best understand the BIA/neighbourhood and the businesses prior to in person visits.• Working with BIA coordinators to set appointments with local businesses and doing walk-throughs, introducing Digital Main Street and carrying out on boarding on to the program.  • Analysing the current digital landscape of each business and recommending tools and strategies based on their priorities and goals. • Implementing digital tools and technologies that the business would like to use (for example, Google my business, social media, e-commerce, online advertising, search engine optimisation etc.) • Providing additional support and resources in order for the business to continue its digital success in the long term. • Presenting expertise in team meetings as well as creating weekly content for Digital Main Street social media channels. • During the COVID-19 period I was able to present a webinar on the Importance of E-commerce attended by over 300 business owners as well as take part in creating various other online support content.
