Designing and facilitating an innovation program for young people based around Human-Centred Design, UX Design and Lean Startup. The goal was to give young people exposure to tech companies and the tools to design solutions to the problems in the education system (putting students at the centre).

I led a state team of 9 passionate staff providing coaching and professional learning to educators and school leaders on a whole-school approach to wellbeing (MindMatters & KidsMatter Primary). Prior to that I was a Project Officer and Co-ordinator on the ground working with schools myself.

I worked predominantly one-to-one with schools to promote whole-school wellbeing. I helped them to identify strengths and gaps through data, facilitated workshops for professional learning, guided them through the writing of an action plan and provided ongoing support in change management. My feedback score for workshops was 4.6/5.

I worked with school wellbeing and leadership teams to implement a whole-school-community-approach to wellbeing and mental health. I built partnerships with organisations in the health, community and education sectors through the State Reference Group. Under my co-leadership, active group membership grew 300% (5 to 20) in one year.

I provided individual counselling to survivors of rape and sexual assault in Cape Town. I also carried out research in order to improve the service intake form. As a result it was more user friendly and in-line with best practice.

As part of my Master's Social Work (Qual) I completed a 70 day counselling placement at Melbourne University Counselling Service with my own caseload of clients.
