Assistant Director of International Admissions performs a variety of activities to recruit, advise and enroll qualified and diverse international undergraduate students to meet the college's enrollment goals. Beyond recruitment activities this role assists in the creation/implementation of digital and print media for marketing purposes.• Counsel all prospective international students on their post-secondary educational goals and the college’s programs and major requirements, transfer processes, admissions, financial aid, English language proficiency, housing, class registration and process to obtaining a student visa. • Review student transcripts and qualifications and perform GPA conversions for admissions purposes.• Review and evaluate all transfer credit placement from international institutions. • Manage various recruitment tools: Slideroom, Salesforce, TargetX, CollegeSource, CIS.• Schedule, plan, and deliver promotional presentations about the college at high schools, college fairs, and other events both virtually and in-person. • Coordinate and schedule travel, events, and information sessions within assigned territory. This has included international travel with other faculty & staff.• Assist in planning and implementing recruitment and yield activities such as Pre-college, public presentations and group tours, open houses, orientation, evening programs, Portfolio Days and special workshops.

In addition to regular duties as an admissions counselor:• Plan and execute annual educator fly-in event which included travel and hotel arrangements, tour of Detroit, faculty lunch, and off-site activities. • Manage, organize, and update all technology used by admissions counselors. • Manage tasks and assign to other counselors based on reported data.

Recruit domestic undergraduate students from a specified region determined by stakeholder data. Counsel students and parents about admission, careers, financial aid, and scholarships. Includes analyzing transfer credit from accredited colleges for transfer students. Schedule, plan, and deliver promotional presentations about the college at high schools, college fairs, and other events.
