Sashesh is passionate about exploring and developing livelihood opportunities for rural communities in alignment with conservation goals. With a PGDFM degree in Conservation and Livelihood from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Sashesh has acquired the skills and knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate sustainable and inclusive interventions.As a District Manager at The/Nudge Institute, Sashesh leads the operations of Asha Kiran project partnerships with Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (UPSRLM), which aims to empower rural women with entrepreneurial skills and access to sustainable livelihoods. Sashesh has successfully launched and scaled up multiple livelihood projects, such as Rice husk based biodegradable products, backyard Poultry farming, Goatery, and centralised market platform for Women Self helf groups in collaboration with local stakeholders and government agencies. Sashesh has also contributed to the institutional reforms and capacity building of community at Odisha Livelihoods Mission, where he worked as a Young Professional for two years.Sashesh's core competencies include leadership, project management, and operations management. Sashesh is also an avid chess player and has won several tournaments at school and college level. Sashesh's vision is to create a positive impact on the socio-economic well-being of rural communities and the conservation of natural resources.
