Launched sama BY sashi, a luxury Lighting Design Studio and with it its very first Collection "Mushroom Collection"• Included Marketing, Gallery Tie-ups, Client relationship, Communication with Vendors, Researching, Designing, Prototyping, Technical Drawings, and, Production, Sales.• Impact: Understanding the needs and wants of the target audience, Reaching wider audience to create a real difference through the products, Increase in sales through marketing, creating brand awareness• Responsibilities: Continuous development of products to create a catalogue at par with the market, developing a business plan and strategy, managing finances, building and maintaining relationship with customers and suppliers, managing day to day operations, taking calculated risks and making difficult decisions.

Assisting the Principle Designer in the Design process. Tasks included Research, sketching, Model Making and Prototyping. I worked with the production team to improve the assembly of bespoke lighting fixtures for clients. Tasks included Quality control, Timely shipment of the products and packaging.

• Designs for a new Helios Watch Store with a theme of Comfort Design. Including Conceptualization, market research, Moodboard, Sketches, renderings, Model making and design for presentation.• Project: Under the guidance of a Visual Merchandise lead at Titan, this project involved understanding the company’s values and creating stores that would attract customers. To achieve this, I visited numerous stores and conducted extensive interviews with customers, gaining valuable insights into their preferences. Through this process, I was able to create an intriguing store design that would capture the attention of potential customer and entice them to enter.• Result: Learnt budgeting, created conceptual models how to translate them through tangible mediums, how light plays a role and how to tap I into the audience psyche.

• Collaborated with Sandeep Sangaru on customized Kashmir-inspired furniture, living space and balcony. Tasks included sketches, renderings for buyers, design for presentations, and tech drawings• Assignments: My focus was specifically on designing a bench inspired by Zero bridge, one of the oldest standing bridge in Kashmir. My responsibility included ideation, form development, ensuring structural stability and considering the bench’s interaction with its surroundings. Additionally, I contributed to a larger project, which involved designing the interiors of a vacation home.
