At Ring, I led engineering teams that integrate third-party smart home devices such as locks, garage door openers, and cameras into Ring and enable Amazon secure deliveries via Amazon Key. At Fire TV, I led a full-stack engineering team in the development and launch of Amazon Creator. A tool for content creators to create Fire TV apps and get their content onto Fire TV with zero coding.

Led a team of Server, Mobile, UI Engineers and Data Scientists in the development of Sequoia backed Kahuna’s real-time cross channel customer engagement platform. Kahuna’s platform ingests a vast amount of behavioral data from which it learns and makes intelligent decisions to improve engagement with customers, allowing marketers to better align with their customers and provide the goods and services their customers are seeking. Kahuna also provides a rich and dynamic SaaS product where marketers can create a variety of campaigns with highly personalized messages to communicate with their customers on a variety of channels include mobile and browser push, SMS and Email.Leadership responsibilities included collaborating with sales, customer success and product organizations to determine product strategy and direction. Established best practices, processes and performance milestones to help Engineering achieve the highest level of throughput and quality. Established a unified process across the company to ensure the team was working on the highest value items to help customers and the business succeed.

Led a team of back-end engineers. Managed process and deliverables of Desk.com's SAAS product.Architected, developed and released Desk.com's Android application from ground up. Worked with members of the engineering, product, design, and customer service teams to determine product roadmap, analyze customer feedback, implement new designs and features, and continuously optimize and improve the product experience. Made bi-monthly updates to Google Play with bug fixes and new features.

Led Myspace's mobile engineering group (iOS, Android, Mobile Web, and SMS products). Managed the team through releases of new versions of the Myspace iOS and Android apps, as well as five new Myspace branded independent apps that catered to the Myspace audience (Local Concerts, My Prank, My Crush, Superpost, La Vida Logo). Also worked closely with other organizations within Myspace (Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, Business Dev) to determine and execute mobile strategy, monetization, and partnerships.Led the product efforts for Myspace's new mobile applications post Specific Media acquisition. Worked with the new executive team to determine Myspace's new mobile strategy which would focus on creating a social experience centered around music and artists. Created wireframes, PRDs, and defined product goals and objectives for the release of new versions of the iOS and Android apps. Led product sessions with the design and engineering teams to determine the optimal v1 for the new release, and define milestones and deliverable dates.

Managed Goowy's product development efforts post acquisition. Successfully transitioned Goowy's technology infrastructure to Aol's. Established a new engineering team (located overseas in Bangalore, India) that would focus on building web based widgets for Aol content properties on top of Goowy's widget platform.

Goowy is a widget development and analytics platform, and consumer focused web based personal information management system (integrated email, contacts, calendar, widgets, file storage and games). Developed the initial products, then hired, managed and mentored the product and development team to evolve and grow Goowy's product line. Raised seed round of financing from Mark Cuban. Acquired by Aol in 2008.

eAssist is a multi-channel customer service platform (email, chat, phone, KB, CRM) for call centers. Built out the core CRM capabilities of the platform, and led the software development team on integration efforts with multiple communication channels (email, chat, knowledge base, telephony).Managed the Engineering team through the new release of eAssist's SAAS customer service application that provided email, telephony, chat and CRM capabilities.
