With a focus on Healthcare, Life Sciences and Financial Services companies in the Fortune 500, Pega Cloud offers the security & availability characteristics of an On-Premise deployment with the elasticity and resiliency of a Cloud solution. As a founding member of the Pega Cloud team, I was responsible for the Solution Architecture, Product Packaging, Pricing and Contract models to begin with. Over time, my responsibilities included Sales Management (pipeline generation, deal structuring, negotiation support) and evangelization. Responsible for the alliances function charged with creating successful Pega practices at Strategic consulting partners like IBM GBS, Accenture and Capgemini. Created and managed a global team as well as working with 'virtual' cross-functional teams in Sales and joint delivery of solutions with partners.Moved the needle for the named relationships from being opportunistic to true strategic partnerships.

Led customer implementations of the Pegasystems SmartBPM suite in the Healthcare Payer vertical in North America.Led successful implementations at Blue Cross Minnesota (their first Pega implementation - presented at PegaWORLD 2007), NASCO (presented at PegaWORLD 2007) and other clients.Specialized in troubleshooting and situation management scenarios and helped turn around 'at-risk' projects.Mentored many consultants and helped them set and achieve career goals.

Managed the Healthcare Payer product suite, including the Population Profiling and Fraud & Abuse Solutions deployed on-premise and as a SaaS app.Architected and delivered the Managed Care Comparative Database, an aggregation of claims history with over 25% of the commercial covered lives in the US. This enabled the Population Profiling product to incorporate National & Regional Peer Group metrics for comparative analysis.Managed the HIPAA compliance implementation from a Product & Service perspective for the Payer suite of products.
