Currently, I'm working on a startup project named Recorn. My duties are system architecture, back-end part, and VoIP-layer. So far, we tested many approaches trying to provide a robust infrastructure and meet all the requirements.- Golang- AWS Lambda- AWS StepFunctions- AWS SQS- RabbitMQ- Camunda BPMN- Hasura

Being a CTO is a very challenging job, and I wasn't an exception. Our company started changing the infrastructure significantly, trying to get rid of obsolete software. I was managing a team of VoIP-engineer and SAs, and I was responsible for that transition, which included:- Implementation of SBCs, based on Yeti Switch project This part was probably the easiest, thanks to quite a mature open-source product and the team of creators, that helped us a lot. We successfully established several PoPs in different regions and cloud providers.- Geo-distributed cluster of Kazoo as a 5-class Softswitch Kazoo is an amazing example of enterprise software but it consists of many parts (open-source) and it's quite complex. We had to set up several clusters(which are quite complex themselves), like: * CouchDB - NoSQL-database for storing data; * RabbitMQ - as the main message broker; * Several Kazoo-nodes. All project was maintained in several geo-zones, and hosting providers(including cloud and non-cloud) like Amazon AWS, Hetzner, Yandex Cloud- Integration with the ERP system and client software Having scattered services is not enough, because clients want to see a nice front-end part, and also we have to count and control everything. So it took us quite some time to accomplish all integrations and automation, based on AWS StepFunctions, AWS Lambda, and custom scripts.I really enjoyed my time there, and I was lucky to work with many talented people.

I started with the basics of VoIP, like:- Aarious VoIP software and hardware- Resting and debugging utilities- VoIP supportAt that time it was much harder to provide a VoIP service, due to unreliable internet connections, unstable standards, and poorly implemented software and hardware. On the other hand, it gave me a strong knowledge of debugging approaches and made me dig till until I an error or solution.Then I started working with more advanced software, like:- OpenSIPS and Kamailio- Mera- Asterisk and FreeSWITCHThat required a lot of tinkering with configs, forums, and reading books in order to reach proficiency. I was involved in providing tailor-made solutions for our customers, so I had to learn the aforementioned packages quite well.My job also required basic programming skills, so I started playing with Bash and Python for scripting and automation.

Started my own small business designated for system/network administration, network administration, and a variety of other jobs.I successfully completed several projects of planning, designing, and installation local network for small business organizations.I was supporting all kinds of software and hardware for my customers, like Linux, MS products, 1C.Wrote lots of scripts to automate the daily tasks of backups, logging, monitoring.

As a part of the support team, I was maintaining shops' hardware and software, as well as internal customers of the office, including MS products, SAP, 1C.Hardware included POS terminals, printers, scanners, Cisco routers, and phones.All tickets were processed in the HP Service Manager package.
