I am graduating from MIT with a B.S. double major in Mathematics and Economics in May 2025, and I'm looking for a full-time job after that.I am passionate about economics, positive impact, and continuous learning. My dream job would provide me with valuable industry or policy experiences, opportunities for professional growth, and intellectual challenges while generating a positive externality for Ukraine or the world. In particular, I am excited about opportunities in economic or data consulting, economic policy or applied econometrics research, data analytics, market design, and others. I am primarily looking for positions in the US or Ukraine but would consider relocating to Europe, too.Over my time at MIT, I have developed extensive data analysis and research skills. My coursework includes Fundamentals of Statistics (18.650), where I built a strong foundation in statistical methods, and graduate-level econometric courses Econometric Data Science (14.32) and Applied Econometrics (14.387), where I deepened my understanding of causal inference and empirical analysis. These courses covered a wide range of topics, from regression and instrumental variables to Bayesian statistics and machine learning. I applied these techniques in research with Prof. Whitney Newey on Debiased Machine Learning and through a course project evaluating the impact of the visibility of Ukrainian LGBT soldiers on the social acceptance of LGBT people in Ukraine. In addition, my experience in courses such as Why Markets Fail, Economic Theory and Public Policy, Rhetoric, and Market Design honed my ability to analyze both quantitative academic papers and qualitative texts critically. Co-running a nonprofit to deliver humanitarian and medical aid to Ukraine during the ongoing war has strengthened my attention to detail, collaboration, and resilience under pressure. Balancing this commitment with my studies has taught me invaluable time-management skills. After working for several years, I plan to apply for PhD programs in Economics. After completing that degree, I hope to permanently return to Ukraine with the skills and experiences to make a difference as an economist. Please do not hesitate to contact me to learn more about my skills, experiences, and aspirations, or to suggest potential ways to collaborate. I'm especially excited to connect with people doing meaningful work for Ukraine.
