I'm originally from Salt Lake City, where I grew up but moved to Nashville in 2015. I spent high school in Nashville, then moved to Chattanooga to attend the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A) with a focus of Entrepreneurship. Through my secondary education, I've developed useful skills and deep knowledge in accounting, management, finance, entrepreneurship and professionalism.I was first introduced to business in high school, where I had a teacher (and mentor) named Robert Kriebel who helped me recognize opportunity in business, as well as showing me that business is not a "math only" career. We attended business conferences across the country with Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), where our group met prominent members of business and learned about the operational efforts of various companies.Currently, I work as an intern at real estate development firm MiKeN Development, where I'm managing MiKeN's social media profiles, managing the MiKeN website, and have other internship duties that include tracking contract due diligence dates, coordinating marketing efforts, and other miscellaneous activities pertaining to real estate development.I've worked in the restaurant industry since I was fifteen, having front and back of house (FOH & BOH) positions. I learned the most in the service aspect, spending time in fast-paced, high-volume environments and slower-pace, fine-dining restaurants. I've learned how customer service works, developed soft skills and broke out of my introverted-style personality. I recommend that anybody who wants to develop their people skills and learn how to manage stressful work environments, to work in the service industry.I plan on continuing my learning in business, real estate and finance by having hands-on experience like my internship, finishing school and expanding my network into the world of business.
Listed skills include Customer Service, Social Media, Public Speaking, Leadership, and 1 others.
