Working under CAD/PCB Dept, a very diverse group performing Engineering services I got exposed to many stages of New Product Development starting from Conceptual planning, Engineering Design, Process Development, Production Control and Automation to Manufacturing, Quality Control and Marketing.Work Profile: Compile 3-D Component Data Base, generate or process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), 3-D Tool & Product Design for Automation Engg, create new mechanical drawings, help with the conversions of PCB “Footprints” from PADS to ALTIUM. Help create definitions of CAD packaging and naming convention for Engineering and Manufacturing. Installation, support & Maintenance of companywide CAD/CAM &CAE software. Also few short assignments include concept & design for fixtures like stencil mount, etc at manufacturing plant. I also work with few PCB designers here to maintain the PCB database, create stencil gerbers, write few ECOs, Bills of Materials and IAS system.
