I worked on reducing technical debt on SelfDecode main web app. I also led the frontend chapter of the company where we brainstormed about introducing best practices, evaluating different technologies, planning how to reduce technical debt, and prioritizing them. After coordinating with multiple technical teams I was able to increase lighthouse score by more than 15 points. I was also able to convince the higher management to adopt a more performant-oriented framework like Remix or Nextjs as our long term plan to tackle the technical debt.

I led a team where we developed highly scalable web apps and cross-platform react native mobile apps. I successfully delivered around 7 custom solutions for various foreign clients.At a time when react native was not an obvious choice for cross-platform mobile developments, I could defend and convince react native as a more performant and sustainable choice for long-term mobile app growth. With RN I was able to successfully publish native apps to both Android PlayStore and IOS AppStore. I introduced test automation tools such as React Testing Library, Jest, and Cypress to the team. With these tools and libraries, I was able to write unit tests, integration tests, and E2E tests. This approach seamlessly worked for both reactjs and react-native.

Successfully completed GSOC 2015 under OpenMRS which is a prominent Electronic Medical Record system in the world. There I contributed to their FHIR Module to enhance its support to FHIR specification.
