• Ensure the UAE and remotely support countries where Logistics support is required for Import and Export shipments are tracked and managed and update to be provided to Internal customers.• Ensure JAFZA Free Zone Inventory is managed in SL and matches with UAE customs register.• Coordinate with Freight forwarder for the collection and follow up of shipments until it reaches the destination• Create Free Zone LGP and BOE Prepare Duty Free document and coordinate with Clearing agent to get release process done before Shipment arrival• Manage Local Material Movement• Manage Free Zone Material In/Out Transaction and ensure the records are managed in SL• Follow up for GRN with storekeeper and ensure completion in same period.• Prepare and follow up on critical shipment advance payment with accounts.• Prepare and manage inbound and outbound shipment status report and circulate twice a week to internal customers.• Review Freight forwarder bills, ensure landed costs managed as per the SL Data base by contracts and arrange to submit for approval and submission for payment.• Carry out limited data entry in Novomet Data base.• Follow and establish Novomet standards and methods for packaging and storing.• Prepare Freight forwarder KPI's and continue work for improvement.• Select carriers and negotiate contracts and rates.• Organize warehouse, label goods, plot routes, and process shipments.• Respond to any issues or complaints related to Logistics activities (NCR/CAPA).• Research ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.• Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.• Evaluate budgets and expenditures.• Update and evaluate freight forwarders and contractor’s metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements• Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, ISO and Company policies and procedures requirements• Create PR for Logistics related activities and support PR creation for material orders.
