For this report I had to correspond with the VP of the Treasury, VP of Finance and CFO in gathering information for the report, writing the macroeconomic review, proof reading all financial reports, following which I compile and bind 20 copies. I created a template that is still used today to prepare the report every month.I was then given the responsibility of compiling a new 5 year Strategic Plan for the period 2012-2016. I was allocated the task of gathering and organizing the contributions from the various VPs and company CEOs across the group. I systematically gathered the veiwpoints, concerns, potential projects and targets each department had. I then sorted the information and compiled a comprehensive list of common and contradicting goals for the board to approve for the next five years. Brief two month internship at one of the biggest stock brokering firms in the country.Rotated between the research department and the trading floor over the course of the two months.During the two months I was exposed to a market freeze, due to the Index crashing below the threshold amount. I also worked with a broker who made several large deals which exposed me to how the broker handles and sells to big clients and how decisions are made under pressure.
